The C-Beyond Thrift Store was opened to supply clean and appropriate clothing for homeless, jobless and displaced women and their children.  Along with shopping for free they are given bags containing a supply of essential hygiene products for them and their children. We also allow our job readiness students to shop for appropriate job hunting clothing after completing our course.

You've probably walked past people who are living on the streets or know a family that's having a tough time in the current economy. Perhaps you've seen news reports about people who need assistance after a natural disaster. Maybe you want to protect forests from development or rivers from pollution.

Volunteering gives you an opportunity to change lives, including your own. If you're feeling frustrated or overwhelmed by the news of a disaster, volunteering to help can be a great way to cope. If you'd like to support a cause but can't afford to donate money, you can donate your time instead.
